Qualcomm Stadium Temporarily Named As Snapdragon Stadium For 11 Days

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Snapdragon by Qualcomm. All opinions are 100% mine.

Smartphones are definitely getting smarter and smarter as more and more people are using it everyday.  Honestly, I could not imagine myself without my smartphone.  It is cool and I am getting dependent on it!  Whoever invented smartphones must really be brilliant.  Have you ever wondered who or what is behind smartphones?  It is no other than Qualcomm's latest technology release - Snapdragon.  Snapdragon is a wireless chip processor that powers some 300 smart phones.  Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made by 30 manufacturers that include Samsung, LG, Nokia, HTC, to name a few.

To enhance awareness about Snapdragon processors, Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego will be temporarily named as Snapdragon Stadium for at least 11 days starting on December 18th.  To highlight this great advertising strategy, Snapdragon Stadium will host the NFL Chargers Sunday night game against Baltimore Ravens on December 18th; along with the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 21st and the Bridgepoint  Education Holiday Bowl on December 28th.

After 11 days and the stadium are back to its name again, I wonder what impact it would create to the promotion of Snapdragon processors among its publics.  Would it be able to sustain the awareness it is expected to get even beyond 11 days?  Well, that needs to be seen but there is one thing for sure:  Smapdragon will continue to improve on its technology that makes it a great competitor for Intel in this business.  While more and more people are using smartphones, Snapdragon is bent on giving Intel a run for their money.
