How brutally honest are you?

I believe in the saying that honesty is the best policy but if it's not really needed, i better shut my mouth up rather than being brutally honest and would hurt anyone's feelings. It really depends on the situation. I agree that it is important to be honest about big stuff but small lies never hurt anyone. We could be honest but try to say it in the nicest way possible.

You Are 24% Brutally Honest

Honesty is nice, but only when it's convenient. You rather be nice than honest.

You figure it's important to be honest about the big stuff, but little lies never hurt anyone!

Hmm... my perspective on this is - We should have some observations on 'tact'.

"The tongue of the wise makes knowledge acceptable..." (Proverbs 15:2 NIV)

One dictionary definition on tact is: skill in situations where people's feelings need to be considered... an intuitive sense of what's right or appropriate. Whatever you may have been led to believe, tact is not about being deceptive or insincere. It's about being considerate and not hurting others unnecessarily.

A number of people are of the opinion that telling the truth means that no tact is needed, just the bare facts. But, in sensitive situations, engage your brain before opening your mouth.

So I salute you Tita for being such kind of person.

God bless you.

Nga pla, you inspired me to create a post about this. Some Observations on Tact. I'll feature you ah..

God bless ulit Tita! Be a blessing..
