Sponsored Reviews deleted my blog!

I thought of checking with Sponsored Reviews hoping to see some tasks available for me.  I noticed i only got two blogs listed there instead of three.  I checked and it was listed under "rejected blogs".  I was upset and sent support ticket.  They should have given me notice why they removed it off their list.  Anybody has this same experience?  The trouble is, that blog that they took off their list was my blog that has the highest PR so that means it is making the most money among my blogs.  I hope they put it back, please!

I can't write ....

My brain does not seem to work right now.  I am forcing myself to write tasks that are due before 12 midnight but the more i try to, the more difficult it is for me to write.  I really have a problem starting a task and once i get it started, i find it too hard to stop writing.  I got to learn to focus on what is needed to get done.  I wish i am in the best mood to write every time i need to write.  This is a problem with writing for pay.  It is a reality that we write for money but we should not forget that we should also write for quality because it is the best way to convince advertisers to give us more tasks to do - by writing quality posts.  Hard work and patience are two qualities a paid blogger needs to possess to succeed.

Just wondering .....

Just wondering how advertisers pick quality posts from not.  Why others consider some posts as quality posts when i see them as poorly written.  Some would tell you your English is not good, when they themselves could not even write good English.  Hello!  I am just ranting.  Even in the blog world, there is politics. I guess it is everywhere.  I think i get tasks because of pure luck then!  It is frustrating! I hope i get more luck in this year of the water dragon!

Making money is not all about making money.  It is also knowing sharing our blessings.  I believe that when we share our blessings, we get more blessings back. The more you give, the more you receive.  So, for this season of giving, we can share to those who are in need.  We can share in cash or in kind or even your most precious time. I'm so frustrated!

Yes i am! I am beating a deadline and my computer is not cooperating right now.  It is just too slow,  The problem of doing some business online is when computer is not working or if it does work, it is working too slow.  It sure affects our productivity, you know.  Just when i start to get my brain working for a writing task, it is when the internet is not cooperating.  When i get back online, that's when i lose the thoughts and nice ideas i got in mind earlier.  I know when i am not in the mood to write because it's either my post is too long that i do not know how to end it or my post is too short.  

Tip in blogging...

When you are into paid blogging, don't be a slacker like me.  Do not wait for the last minute to write and submit your post because when one is in a hurry to write, there is a big tendency for mistakes.  If you submit a task at the last minute and you need to revise it or edit it, you can no longer do it because it has already expired by the time the advertiser reviews it.  It happened to me twice and I learned my lesson.  Now, when i do a task at the 11th hour, i make sure i have checked all the anchor texts and links are correct before the advertiser gets the time to review it.   If ever you did a task that has expired, just delete it off your blog and save it somewhere because those tasks may come back so you can still use it if you get a chance to grab it. 

It's my rest day .....

Today is my birthday and I want to give myself a treat by declaring today as my rest day!  I am not doing any housework, no online job, nothing.  I don't even want to go out somewhere.  I just want to have a quiet day at home, which is a very simple yet special treat.  But honestly, i am still worried about tasks undone but that can wait, hehe!

To do or not to do.....

As you know, i am into paid blogging which means that i get paid to blog about certain products and services.  Yesterday, i turned down an offer of $80 in a site where i get half of it which means i would get $40 for writing a simple post.  The reason i turned it down is because it was about a casino-related site.  Most advertisers don't like blog sites with casino-related contents so i had no choice but to reject it.  I admit, i almost took it but as i thought about the great opportunities that are coming my way which i might lose because of it, i decided to just resist the temptation.  

Earlier, i had to reject another casino-related offer for $20.  I thought hard about it; it was just so tempting.  Getting paid $20 to write a simple post of let's say 150 words - is hard to resist but i just did!  Paid bloggers like me, you may get paid a huge amount for writing about casino and gambling-related sites but think about the consequences, the great paying opportunities that you lose for doing such.  But then again, It is your choice!

My blogging money saves my day!

I have a lot of unexpected expenses these days - sick kids and all that.  Problems like these usually come when I don't have enough cash in hand and I guess that is why i call them "unexpected", right?  Thanks for my blogging, at least i got something to lessen the financial burden that i'm sure every family goes through sometimes.  It really helps, you know.  I know it is not enough but it sure is a great help. Thank you Lord for all these blessings!

Earning money online ....

I get a lot of messages in this blog asking me how I make money online.  To answer this question, I used to make a lot of money online about 6 years ago when i was just starting.  I do a lot of "get paid to do" sites like surveys, PTCs, and DIYs and a lot more.  It was only after 2 years after that when i started blogging for pay.  Since I have blogs anyway, i thought i wanted to try what my friends have been doing - getting paid to blog.

True enough, i started to make a little money from blogging until the US economy went down that also affected the blogging industry.  Advertisers paying bloggers to write about their services and products became scarce and my earnings became scarce as well.  It was good I started to work full time too so i had other options to earn money.  

Now, i see the blogging industry slowly coming up again so for those who are blogging and interested to make extra money, you can try signing up to sites that pay bloggers to write.  You can start writing about the things that interest you and before you know it, you are earning extra bucks that will inspire you to do more.  Good luck!

Are there legit PTCs left?

It seems that most of the PTCs that i have signed up with are gone.  I am scared of signing up with new ones even if they seem legit because i am becoming so paranoid with these PTCs.  They pay members when they're new to entice more members to join and of course to make more money.  After a few months, they start to disappear.  I have invested a lot of time and money on a lot of PTCs, i cannot afford to risk some more.  I wonder if there is any legit PTCs left?

Bux.to is back!

I was surprised to finally see bux.to back when i logged in this morning.  At first, they won't let me log in, telling me they don't have that account in their records.  I checked the forum and read a post instructing members who seemed to lose their accounts like me, to just register again and to use the same email address used on the old account and to use the same username, if possible.  That was what i did and just waiting on my earnings or balance moved to this new account.  I started surfing, not sure if they pay me as an upgraded member or as standard one.  There are changes in the site and policy on membership and payments.  

For those who have bux.to account, just register again and use the same email addy and username used in your old account and wait for few days for them to get your balance get reflected in your  new account.  I hope we will never have to lose anything.  Good luck to us!

Having problems logging in to Bux,to?

I noticed for the past days, i could not log in to bux.to and i wonder if it is only me or anyone having the same problem?  I am waiting on a cashout there that i requested more than a year ago.  I hope i won't lose it! I hope the site is just undergoing some maintenance or having some problems and NOT intending to just disappear like most PTCs.  I have invested a lot of time and money on this site already.  Tell me, it's not only me having this problem, please!

I am my own boss!

People think that working online is less stressful because you work at your own pace and you don't have a boss.  Wrong!  It is actually very stressful especially if you have a deadline to beat.  "I am my own boss" is maybe true and i can work anytime i want to, from anywhere as long as there is access to the internet.  The access to the internet makes it even more stressful because not all places can get you access to the net.  

Hubby and I went to PA the past days and we hardly had any signal to our phone but luckily i could get access to the net from my phone sometimes just to check my mails and sometimes Facebook.  I could not work online from my phone although I could if i want to but it is so hard for me to type my from phone.  When i got back, i got so many pending tasks to do and that is stressful!  I am actually just starting to work on it now.  Wish me luck!

Question about expired domain...

If i bought a domain and i totally forgot to renew it and it expired, could i still access my site?  If i pay them for the renewal after it has expired, would they let me have my blog site back?  I am just curious how it works but this question is not for me.  I am just asking about it, in case it happens to me.  Speaking of domains, is there a hosting domain that is highly recommended?  I am a newbie into this domain thing and although i own a domain, i  really know nothing about how it works. 

Strike while the iron is hot!

In my five years in making money online, i could say that in this business, you should apply the saying that "strike while the iron is hot!"  It is not a stable job, i tell you.  Today you get a lot of earning opportunities and suddenly they're all gone by tomorrow.  So grab any opportunity that comes your way because there is no guarantee they are there the next day.  Advertisers come and go.  Some last in the business while some quickly disappear.  It is a risky business so be careful.  Avoid scammers! They're everywhere lurking, waiting for their next victims.  

Earning extra money .....

I am thankful that i am earning extra money even if it's not much.  With it, i can shop online whenever i want to, send cell phone loads to my loved ones in the Philippines and send small cash if needed, without asking money from my husband.  To me, that is already a great help.  Earning online, however, is not a stable earning.  There are times we get more and there are times we get nothing.  It takes a lot of patience and hardwork to stay in this business.  I am still thankful that i get some extra earnings online ever now and then.  

How to weed out spammers?

I have been swamped with spammers in my three blogs especially in my bravejournal blog so i decided to disable my tagboard in it and moderate comments in my posts.  I still get a lot of comments though and 99% are from spammers.  Sometimes, i am too lazy to read them one by one so i just delete them.  I hate it when they post comments in your posts, including those old, old posts and the comments are so irrelevant to your posts and they contain links.  Isn't that so obvious they are spammers?  I wonder how to get rid of them.  Is there a good tool for it?  Would you mind sharing?

How do you deal with advertisers?

How do you deal with advertisers who want a free ride in your site?  Yes, those who want to advertise in your blog for free?  How about those who ask for your price or how much you're gonna charge in case they place a link in your site?  I got offers like these asking my fee for links placed in my blog.  Honestly, i don't know how much to charge because i am used to being offered together with a fee and all i do is negotiate in case i feel it is too low but most of the time i just agree.  It is still money, anyway.  Tell me, how much do you think is a right reasonable amount per link, if you are asked to make an offer?  Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

How important is a Page Rank?

For a paid blogger like me, having a Page Rank is very important because most of the advertisers usually base the number of tasks and payment for these tasks on the page rank or PR of your website.  I have no idea how to get a PR though.  To me, it's like based on luck.  I lost PR on my blogs many times, they come and go, and i don't know where PR are really based from.  Is it quality of posts?  Definitely not!  Writing quality and interesting posts absolutely helps because you gain more visitors or hits if readers find your site interesting.  

I always hear that it is mostly based on links - which means that other sites linked you up with their sites, especially if their sites have high PR.  What i don't understand is:  there are sites that are newly-created, no hits, no traffic, very few nonsense posts but they get high PR.  On the other hand, there are sites that contain quality and interesting posts, have links and lots of traffic, but with low PR.  How do you explain that?  I guess that's how it is!
